Shoe Dyeing

Does anyone know of a good place to get shoes dyed?  I just purchased a pair of Touch Ups shoes and I want to get them dyed a peacock blue type color.  Anyone have any experience with this and a recommendation for a good place to use?  Thanks!

I used Lake Mary Shoe Repair & they looked great! But they ended up dying my toes a little bit & when they got wet they were ruined. I have no clue if they all get like that or not but they looked really nice for the wedding.

All dyed shoes will bleed if they get wet. Please also know that even if a place tells you they can match a colour exactly, they probably can't unless you're picking one of their swatches. And whatever you do, DON'T use American Cleaners on Bumby. They're so rude. Any bridal shoppe should be able to dye your shoes for you for a pretty reasonable fee. Modern Bridal on Colonial would be a good bet if you're in the downtown area.

That's the place I had it done. With the info above I guess they didn't do a bad job. :) They came very close to the color I wanted & only charged $15. They didn't have the shoes ready by the originial pickup date though, but luckily I called first - the guy got confused & thought I wanted them for the following week. It was fine though he got them done quickly.

Awesome thanks ladies!  Does anyone know if there is a way to "set" the color so it won't bleed?
