What's a proper thank you gift... (NWR)

So H's GI Bill is finally getting straightened out!!! In the matter of a week the top lady over education for this region has gotten him entered into the system correctly, and got DCCCD to override the "balance due" that I was complaining about yesterday, so that he could register for his summer classes.

While it will be about 3-5 more weeks til the backpay and reimbursements kick in, we know that someone finally has him entered in the system to receive everything.

I told H that we need to send her a thank you gift of some sort once the backpay kicks in, but I don't know what exactly to send. I thought a cookie bouquet, he said flowers.

Any ideas?

  • I definitely prefer edible to non-edible.  =)  Maybe you can call her secretary and find out what kind of cookies she likes?  Or send an edible arrangement?

  • The first thing that came to mind was either a cookie bouquet or a fruit arrangement. I'm sure that either way you go, she will be elated that someone recognized her hard work in a stressful situation! It is so sweet of you guys to do that!

Yes I do!!! I've had it with work this week, so I'm being a slacker today :) I've missed you! I feel like I haven't been on in ages.
  • My next batch o' wine from Sonomoa that is shipped to us will need to be shared. You and J will need to visit for a dinner night when it comes.
