I haven't been on in a few days, but I saw that you were moving the wedding up! Congrats to you and the soon to be hubby. :)

If you're dealing with morning sickness/not so morning sickness, i have some good remedies for it. :)

Oh paprika!! It's like you are reading my mind... lol. I was just thinking to myself how I wish there was a cure for "morning sickness" which is so deceiving since it lasts ALL DAY LONG!! ughhhhhhh haha. help me!

As far as the wedding.. i am feeling pretty good about everything. The FI's family are helping out alot so that's good. This weekend i'm tackling the BM dresses, our rings and our registry.. and maybe my shoes :)  lol. Monday I need to get on the ball and find someone to marry us! We can't have a wedding without that!

aww! So glad everything is coming along for your wedding plans! I'm so happy that it's all going to work for you guys!

Go to babies R us... they're called Preggy pops and preggy drops. The whole point behind them is that the sour in them hits the sour spot on your tongue and confuses your mind in to thinking that you're not feeling sick. It sounds silly, but I lived on them. And when I ran out? Sour patch kids. You definitely don't want to take them in to your third trimester though, because it'll cause heartburn!

Oh, and goldfish crackers and ginger ale. Make sure you keep a 'bucket' in your car too! I made the mistake of not having one, and threw up all over the side of rt 1 one morning. Ick.

I have heard wonderful things about the preggy pops too!  I would also recommend trying them, having heard great things about them!

I will be making a trip to babies r us tomorrow!!! I've only thrown up once and it was because of a smell. I'm having just a constant all day long nausea. I always feel on the verge of throwing up but I don't and it's a 24 hr a day thing. Thank you for the tips! My sister in law (we have the same ob) said that she was given some kind of medicine for nausea. I don't know why but I'm freaked out about taking any medicine she did offer hers to me but I don't know if I should take them or not. I may call my ob to be sure. I don't want to take anything without her approval.

    and in wedding related news..

Dress shopping for the BM's was a success today minus 1. I have 3 honorary girls (i couldn't choose) and one of them didn't show. She didn't even call me! I had to call her! She has alot going on right now which I understand but at least have the courtesy to call me! ughh.. Since the wedding is so close, she may have to find a dress off the rack because she says she can't go until Friday because she has too much going on. They girl at DB today was freaking out because of my wedding date. She wasn't sure if the dresses could be in on time. But luckily we are in luck. The latest dress arrival is 2 weeks before the wedding.

Tomorrow I'm trying to drag the FI to do our registry but I'm not sure where to go. I realllllllly wanted to go to Target since they have everything but I've heard some bad reviews about their return policy. I may go to Bed Bath & Beyond. and then to look for our rings. Any suggestions of places for wedding bands?? Hopefully with lots of options.  The FI has the attention span of a 5 year old. lol. I can' only take him so many places to shop! hehe.

We did jared's for both our rings, and were pleased.  We were going to do Minister's Jewelers in Wilmington (NOT in Newark), but ran out of time.

I am betting you it was Phenergan or Zofran.  Phenergan is used a TON in pregnant women, Zofran is usually used in Cancer patients.  I would always put a call into your OB before taking anything you are unsure of, especially meds.  But if the nausea is that bad, I would call the first thing on Monday morning.  Who is your OB?

We did our registries at Macy's and BBB- those are the two that you will find most people using.  We also did one at Williams-Sonoma, but didn't get a ton from it (we did it because DH is a kitchen snob).  I have heard terrible things about Target as well, but it all boils down to choice and convience.

The FIL's suggested Macys. Maybe I'll do both since BB&B is only up north.

My Ob/gyn is Dr. Vanguri and I will definately be callng her Monday. I can't remember the name of the medicine. I went to Babies R Us last night and got the preggie pop drops.. They help but only when I'm actually eating them. The downside is that anything sour always hurst my mouth! Don't know why but it does.. sour candy usally gives me canker sores. So I can't really eat them all the time.

I will try Jareds. We got my engagement ring at Littmans at Christiana Mall... I was thinking of going there just so I can go to the same place for any problems. If I don't find anything there then I will keep shopping.
