Late Night Snack!

So we've decided to pull the trigger and have a late night snack put out around 10:30 pm (our reception is going until midnight).  We are having mini pulled pork sliders with bbq sauce, mini grilled cheese sandwiches, and chicken sate with peanut sauce.  I may also look to make some cake or cheesecake pops to put out, or get some cannolis as a surprise for my FI since the woman is making our dessert (lava cakes) also makes great pastries.  What do you think?  Would you be excited for a late night snack?  I'm hoping our guests like it!

    I'd be psyched for a late night snack. I think that's an awesome idea! I considered it myself, but the package we ended up going with just has SO much food to begin with.

    im considering cookies with milk in double shots...but im not sure ...still havn't  decided

    I so wanted to do the cookies and milk shooters too, but when I'm drinking I totally want salty/greasy type food, hence what we chose.  I'm going to be all over those grilled cheese sandwiches.  lol.  Glad you ladies like the idea!

    That sounds delicious!  I agree that greasy, "real food" is perfect to soak up some excess booze.  Pulled pork sounds really good on a rainy day...maybe I'll make some this weekend.  haha.  Your reception is going to be full of awesome food Chrispy!

    I want to eat all those foods right now (or at least the vegetarian ones), sounds great!  I think a little something sweet, too--the cannolis sound awesome if they're a favorite of your FI's--would be good.  

    And we are having milk shooters with cookies as part of our dessert table.  Our wedding is in the afternoon, so no late night snack for us.

    So in love with your late night snacks!!  I am always hungry towards the end of the night and most wedding we end up ordering pizza or stopping for a late night quick bite. Your guest are going to LOVE YOU!!

    Since we feel so strongly about late night snacks we are having a Pie Bar and  a  Sausage cart will  arrive around 10:30.

    Well I should have posted Pie table rather than Pie bar.  We ordered 6 different fall  favorite pies  to have out at after dinner.  Guest can serve themselves or take a slice home. We are doing this instead of favors and I like Pie :)

    I love the pie table and sausage cart? OMG that is great!  We were limited with options because we are so far up in Maine but we're lucky that our caterer also does awesome bbq, which is why we went for the sliders.

    And Plato, lamo at your comment.  I was thinking the same thing!  haha!

    pps - the best part about my wedding-crashing fantasy is that I couldn't eat half of the things because I'm a glutard (aka, eat gluten-free). A girl can dream, right? :)
