Poll: songs for ceremony

I don't know what sort of songs I want to be playing as the guests come in, as my bridesmaids walk in, as I walk in, or as we walk out. I need some ideas!

What song are your BMs walking in to?
What song are you walking in to?
What song are you walking out to?

We have a guitarist.  Plan is mix of Beatles, Bill Joel, etc. love songs while everyone is arriving & being seated.  Beatles, "In My Life" while mothers are seated.  (We have no BP).  Canon in D as I walk in.  And "Here Comes the Sun" as we walk out.  All acoustic guitar, no lyrics.

I just started thinking about this, and so could change by next week...but currently:

    Seating:
One Hand, One Heart - West Side Story
All I Ask of You - Phantom

    Processional
Canon in D - Johann Pachelbel

    Bride
Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin - Richard Wagner ("Here Comes the Bride")

    Recessional
Phantom of the Opera - Phantom (I know, right. What do you think? Too creepy?)

Oh, and I forgot to say that these will be played on the organ...hence the Phantom.

We are having a pianist to play throughout the ceremony (and while guests are sitting down, waiting for the ceremony to begin and such). We are also having a trumpet player that will play only when I walk down the aisle with my dad.

What song are your BMs walking in to? We haven't decided yet

What song are you walking in to? Trumpets Voluntary (Jeremiah Clarke version)

What song are you walking out to? Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg (on the piano, it's "our song")

We can't have amplified music in the park and I still haven't figured out if I can find someone on the super-duper cheap (like, $100) to play a few songs, so I just don't know. I only have my MOH and flower nephews so if I did have music, I was tempted to have I'm "Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover" for them. Unsure for me though. For recessional, I wanted a song by the now no-longer active Daylight Basement called "Just Kiss Me".

Archel - I think the actual Phantom song is a bit too much. What about Angel of Music instead?

Jamers22: Yes, FI's sister is singing "Here and Now" during the ceremony.

KST:  We are using Matthew Meldon to play guitar, for an hour (seating of guests, waiting, ceremony) he charges $200, but maybe he would do less if you only want a few songs.  http://www.matthewmeldonguitar.com/

Haha, yes....FI just vetoed it this morning. Darn. Instead, he suggested the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odw-QQP9SaI" rel='nofollow'>www.youtube.com/watch?v=odw-QQP9SaI</a>" target="_blank"><u>wedding song from Les Mis</u>! Which I am alright with. :)

I don't have anything but the song that I am walking to. It is a cool beachy version of somewhere over the rainbow.

There is a youtube video in my bio. Check it out.

I'm torn on whether to do one song for BMs and me, or one for them and another for me.  Here's what we have so far:

    Processional: Maunaleo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBtblvltxO0
During ring ceremony: Rainbow Connection - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jL4uBir91Y

What song are your BMs walking in to? Stolen, Dashboard Confessional (piano instrumental)
What song are you walking in to? Clocks, Coldplay (slower version of the (piano instrumental)
What song are you walking out to? Wedding March (I barely convinced them to let me go "nontraditional" with the first two, so I had to fall in line with the rest of the songs haha.)

Funny note about All I Ask of You...that was our unity candle song. My singer gave me a choice of that or a super religious song (LOL total opposite) so I went with Phantom. But as I was typing "Andrew Lloyd Webber" into my program, I wondered, "What are people going to think of this one?!?!" Hahaha.
