Best Cupcakes in/near Boston

I am getting married in Burlington but live south of Boston and trying to find the best cupcakes as I plan on having a cupcake tower.

We tried Spinelli's in East Boston/Lynnfield and really like them but wanted to know about other options.

Thank you in advance!

We are using Donna's cakes in West Roxbury and I love them.  Great prices too!  The cupcakes at sweet in boston are really really good too but a little pricey.

We swear by Kickass Cupcakes in Somerville...they are always fresh and the flavors are unique/fabulous!

Babycakes is pretty great to. They are located in Quincy.

I saw Babycakes on Phantom Gourmet this weekend.

We will be checking out these places - I think this is my FIs favorite part of planning.  I am also having my nephew help since he would eat cake 24/7 if allowed.  My nephew is the one that put us onto Spinelli's.

    Thanks again everyone!

IMO. Sweet Tooth Bakery in South Boston has the best.  We had them at our daughters wedding and people are still commenting on them.  They have tons of choices for fillings and frostings.
We think they are way better than Party Favors in Brookine who only offered us three flavors and honestly, the lady acted like she was doing us a favor, heck we were ordering 300!!

Second vote for Lyndell's here. That's where I intend to get mine.

Lyndell's has been around for over 100 years, btw: http://www.boston.com/yourtown/news/somerville/2010/02/lyndells_bakery_expands_sweetl.html

I would say stay away from KickAss they're just too "hit or miss".
Lyndells is fabulous. The one on Broadway in Somerville is outstanding.

I swear I've tried them ALL---but love Treat in Needham.  For a more elegant look, I think the best cake around is at Cakes for Occasions in Danvers.  While I'm philosophically opposed to giving this woman any business, she makes AMAZING cupcakes!! The actual sponge she uses is far better than Babycakes (I live right near there, but drive to Danvers....) and more flavorful than the Konditormeister and Montillio's.

Lulus on Salem St in North End - cheapest and best in North end for sure.
