NWR-Running my first 5k tomorrow!

Is anyone else running in the Shamrock 5k tomorrow?  It's my first race (and I am totally not a runner), so I'm nervous but really excited.  I have to thank my MOH for getting me to sign up, she and her BF will be running as well.  If you're out along the parade route tomorrow, cheer on a fellow knottie!  :)

    One of my bridesmaids is running and had asked me to. I'm slightly disappointed I didn't do it, but we're doing the Warrior Dash in May.

    You are going to have a blast! You don't have to be a serious runner to have fun. Just start toward the back and let the serious runners take off. You're going to feel so accomplished when you cross that finish line. It's an awesome feeling.

    Update-The race was amazing!  I felt good the whole time, ran the whole time, and didn't finish last (my goals).  Plus I finished with a faster time than I thought I would.  Now I'm addicted.  :) 
    Kmartini-Have fun and good luck with the Warrior Dash.  It sounds crazy, but awesome.
