Why oh Why must people beef up the speed on their treadmill to maximum speed when they clearly can't handle it?
I am a giggler. I can't help it. When you go flying off the treadmill, I laugh. Uncontrollably. (after I see you are ok.) It's an pandemic lately. Three people in the last two months. WTH is wrong with people?? It is especially funny when the person on the treadmill next to them doesn't skip a step as their neighbor goes flying through the air.
I need to brush my hair. It's so long and thick and I hate doing it. Knots galore! Pretty sure it's been a few days since a brush even touched it. I need a haircut.
I want a new job in the worst way. However, I'm well-paid and have been here forever, and the short-term forecast for the company has become very shaky, so I'm sticking it out to get my fat severance package (which would be very substantial and allow me to be out of work comfortably for several years).
Wrong of me to be praying for the company to fail? Yes, sure. Am I doing it anyway? F*ck yeah.
*** September 2013 Signature Challenge: Hair Inspiration! ***
Ticked at myself that I haven't been more disciplined about working out. I've lost 9 lbs since July - my goal was 15 - 5 lbs a month. I have a wedding to go to this weekend and was hoping to be more trim. Also, I don't want to try on dresses until I hit the 20 lb mark, so I have 11 to go. I figured I'd start trying on dresses in January (right after the holidays - eek - but I need to lose this weight or I won't be happy in anything I try on.) January is 9 mos pre-wedding, so I think that's OK, but then I see all these women on here already trying on/buying dresses. Why did I let myself go! ARGH!

My company has also had a tough year last year and I pray that I come to work with the doors chained together saying they went under as well. I applied to many jobs in the last 8 months because I also need to get the hell outta my current job....but so far not much has come of those applications. I will keep trying. I will cross my fingers for you and you can cross yours for me :) hahah
Edit: I am not well paid and I would have no severance package and I STILL pray for them to go under...how bad is that LOL

To all the ladies that aren't happy with their jobs, fear not! Something good is bound to come your way. I was (still am, actually) in a shitty job and couldn't see any kind of light at the end of the tunnel -- I didn't think anyone even noticed me or would care if I stopped showing up. But then, last month, my crazy boss told me he was leaving, and that I would be getting reassigned to a different department. I've met with my new bosses, and they are super happy to have me on their teams because they have heard so many good things about me. I can already tell they are going to be awesome to work for. It's amazing how things have a way of working themselves out -- hang in there! Good things are on the way!

Yes, I also need a vac. I have been keeping a bank of five vac days because I'm adopting a baby and will need that time to go pick up the baby and get the initial paperwork done before I officially start my FMLA. That's five less vac days for me to use. BUT, I've squirreled away a couple more so I can take three days off at Thanksgiving and have the entire week off (with the two holidays my company gives). It has been so long since I had a whole week off work. Last year I took a week and my fiance had surgery and I was still recovering from being sick. The worst time off ever. LOL I'm not going anywhere, but just to have time to myself to work on wedding stuff, get some stuff done around the house, etc. I'm psyched!
Found out last night that my MOH is having her 4th Girl! We were all hoping for a boy, but I am really excited for her to have a girl! Love shopping for girls and hey at least she is prepared right!?
I was trying to get ahold of one of our groomsmen (my best friend since birth) and he wasn't answering my calls or texts. 2 months I have been trying to get ahold of him!!! So I wrtote to his mom 2 weeks ago via private message on fb and she never responded back! Our other friend we have known since we were 4 years old did the same thing. No response. Finally figured out we were BOTH calling and texting the wrong number!!!! OMG DUMB! It was a working number bc I would always leave a voicemail... Jerks could've at least told us we were calling/texting the wrong number! We found out by getting the right number from another friend. Jeeze.
Niece won her volleyball game yesterday! Good close game! Very proud of her!
Going to my Grandma's house tomorrow to tell her we set a date to get married! Yay!

i need to dye my hair - badly - but i hate the smell of it - and since i already have a cold - the smell will bug me that much more, not too mention that the only place that carries my color is walgreens... and by the time i decide i want to dye it - its always late and they are closed I put off dying it as long as possible because i have alopecia areata - so my hair falls out - and with the stress of FI aunt passing and taking care of him and just work and money - and wedding planning - my hair has started falling out again -- no big bald spots yet so far - but now i am worried about needing a wig for the wedding. just another expense
