Hairpiece?

Hey ladies!  So awhile back, I posted the hairpiece that I made.  Here's a picture of it again...

Well, now I found some new hair inspiration & I love the hairpiece she has.  Here's a picture of that...

And here's the back, just for good measure!

I LOVE the hairstyle & I'm going to have it for the wedding.  I'm just wondering if the hairpiece I made will still work, or if I should take a shot a making something similar to the one in my hair inspiration.  I could always make a new one & decide later which one to use.

What do you ladies think?

You could possibly modify the one you made. I think if the flower were a little smaller with more vertical height with the feathers you would have the look of the new one you like. That being said I think the one you made will work fine with the hair style too. I guess when you do your trial up-do you will be able to see it all together and make the final call.

I say why not! The first one went so well it wouldn't hurt! :)

If you have the time then go for it, but the one you made is awesome so I wouldn't do anything to damage it in case your second attempt isn't what you hoped for.

Why not try making a new one if you have the time? You could always re-sell it, or just have another pretty hair thing in your drawer if you don't end up using it for the wedding.

I actually like the hairpiece you made better than the one in the picture.  The picture's hairpiece is overblown with geegaws and frippery, and next to a wavy hairstyle worn mostly down like that, seems complicated.  Your simpler one is much better.

Thanks for all the input ladies!  I'm going to stick with my original hairpiece!  I do plan on making another one like my original, but smaller, for everyday wear.  I just love the way it looks & had such a great time making it!
