im having a sad day

we just had to spend half our wedding money on our car to be fixed. Rabbi canceled on me for tomorrow. Can he smell that we just lost our money? Alright I'm done feeling sorry for myself.

I'm so sorry to hear that!  I do know where you are coming from though, we had to spend over half of our wedding money on mortgage and bills when FH was laid off for 2 months.  Hang in there.  Everything happens for a reason and it will all work out in the end!  We had actually planned on cancelling the wedding back in May, but my sister refused to hear anything of it and offered to loan us the money that we had spent on keeping ourselves afloat.   We had to cut a few things and make some adjustments, but in the end it all seems ot be working out just fine.  Keep you head up!

I understand what you are going through too. It seems like wedding planning has been on hold for us as well, car troubles too (they can really do damage for an unexpecting budget). I just keep reminding myself that its one day, its a party, its going to be fun no matter what because it will be filled with the man I love, our family and friends. We don't need a lot of money to impress people for one day, if they are truly our friends they will love us no matter what! The important thing to remember is to have fun, be in love, and remeber that you are celebrating a MARRIAGE! Being married is filled with a lot of ups and downs. Try not to get too caught up in the wedding, the marriage you are about to enter with the man you love is much much more important than one day. The others are right, keep your head up and everything happens for a reason, it'll be okay.
