Need BRA help!

I have a fairly large chest, 32F to be exact - and yes I have been pofessionally fitted - any suggestions on wher to get a comfortable longline strapless bra???

PS - I live in CT.  Thanks!

  • Can you instead have cups sewn into your dress?

Where do you normally buy bras?  That store may carry something marketed as a convertible bra instead of strapless.  The convertible bras are the ones that can be worn X different ways, usually one being strapless.

  • You might call around to some specialty lingerie shops.  Not VS, but stores that specialize in custom fitting bras.  I have a friend who wore the wrong size bra for years so I made her go to a shop here in Houston called La Tee Da and she was measured as a 40F.  Now she has bras that fit!  Their bras tend to be more expensive, but they last a long time and fit correctly.

  • I'd suggest having cups sewn into your dress.  Although you might think it sounds like they wouldn't give you enough support, but if your dress is structured and you add elastic or a bra hook like band on the inside, everything will stay in place.  This is what I did for my dress, I'm not as big as you, (32DD) but it worked out really well. Just take it to an alterations place or seamstress and they can help you out.  A lot of times, strapless bras for bustier girls just never stay in place and are a big hassle and uncomfortable.
  • I got mine from David's Bridal.  It is really comfortable and supports as well

I had a friend who was an F and the only place she could get bras from was Fredericks of Hollywood - check them out online!
