Centerpiece Ideas for a blue and purple wedding?

Hello ladies. As my wedding planning continues, my wedding coordinator made a great observation--If I use fake flowers for the wedding centerpieces and with glass containers, will guests want to take them home or would you like to have 12 vases to use in your house. Do you ladies have any ideas of centerpieces that will look nice, I wouldnt want to keep, but my guests would love to have as gifts.

I'm doing blue and purple! That top picture is actually part of my flower contract as an example of what it will somewhat resemble. I am using the bouquets of my bridal party for centerpieces by just having them placed in vases (with more look alikes already made). If you did something like this your bridal party would probably want to take them home, but I am not sure about other guests. I also am having one higher and one lower (the bouquet kind) type of centerpieces. By having different style centerpieces, maybe more people would want to take them. I really don't know. I hope that helps!

by using different shapes and styles of vases, more guests may want to take them home, and if they don't you aren't stuck with 12 of the same vase. Or you could just plan on selling the leftover vases after the wedding.
