Has anyone gotten shellac nails before? Which is better the shellac or gel nails? Help!

    Shellac and gel is pretty much the same thing. The shellac is a soak off gel polish for natural nails. Gel can be filed off and can be use for artificial nails. The both last a while. Gels is not as harsh as acrylics are. So if you go that route you will be good .

    I have shellac. That's like gel nail polish. No drills and it last 3 weeks. I love it. The gel still requires that a drill be used on your nail bed. Not healthy my opinion but if it's just special occasion, it should be fine. I have my natural nails with Shellac and they've been growing!
