Anyone else find themselves being annoyed at hearing their fiance referred to as their boyfriend? Maybe because it's been a long engagement....and the wedding is next month...ruffles my feathers for some reason.....

    No, probably because I catch myself still calling him my BF.  Fiance just seems to fancy to be coming out of my mouth...

    Haha I feel like I need to be drinking tea with my pinkie out when I say it.  It's just a title to say we are serious and want to get married... we know that's what we are so I really don't care about anyone else.

    I say fiance but I always feel weird saying it. I try to avoid it. I feel pretentious when I say fiance.

    I like it although it did take me a minute to get used to.
     However, my FI has "girlfriend" stuck in his head and will still refer to me as his gf to his buddies. Funny enough, his buddies have been correcting him!!
