Outer Envelopes - Label or Print

Hi! I can't decide whether to print addresses on clear labels for the envelopes or print them on the envelope themselves? Thoughts!?

    I printed directly to the envelope. it looked really nice.

    Can you ladies explain whether this was a giant pain or not! We have a printer that is 5 years old and I am worried that it is going to be a disaster if we try to do the envelope printing ourselves.

    Jaylii -- I haven't actually done this myself with the wedding invites; however, I have printed other envelopes in the past.  I typically use one or two test envelopes to make sure that I have all the settings right (and the envelope in the printer correctly!) and then the rest is history.  My experience with testing non-wedding invitation envelopes has been positive.

    We hand wrote ours out- looked great and I think it gave them a more personal touch
