Notifying guests about block of hotel rooms

How should we notify guests about the block of hotel rooms where the reception?

My mother says we should enclose a card, but I'm thinking a phone call to the guests as they R.S.V.P that they are coming would be OK.

Please give me your opinions, I need to know soon.

    We put it on our website and also got premium business cards from VP and put the hotel info on that, and just put that in with the invites. Lots of people said it was helpful because they just put them in their wallets and had the info on them to call when they had a free minute. I wouldn't plan on calling them, that's a lot of unnecessary work!
