Excited! Future Navy Wife...

Getting married in October and plans are finally coming together.  Can not wait to be his wife!  Marrying a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy and was curious to know how many more brides out here are marrying a Chief.

Thanks to everyone!  He proposed to me when we went on a picnic at my grandparents (they live on the river).  An American Bald Eagle flew over right before he proposed.  It was beautiful!

    Yay for Navy!!  :)
FI is in the Navy, although not a Chief.. I'm not in the cool club there :P hehe
Aw how fitting that a symbol of American freedom would pass as your American hero got down on a knee. Too sweet :)

I'll be a navy wife (although not to a chief) next year. I'm moving to his duty station in January but continuing to plan our wedding across the country where our families are..yikes.

Luckily, we are blessed to be in the same place.  I can only imagine the stress of doing planning from across the country.  Sending all positive thoughts and blessings...

Hi and welcome!  I'm a Navy wife.  To be honest, I don't know what rank most posters' H's are because it's not something I care about, or care to ask.  I know there are many wives who wear their H's rank on their sleeve in real life, but on here it's a moot point (as it should be IRL too).

I have no intention of wearing his rank.  I have seen a lot of it though as I work on a base.  I think when I first posted, I was more interested in what sort of traditions folks intended on incorporating in their ceremonies...cutlass arches, cutting cake w/ cutlass, etc.  Not my intention to offend anyone on the boards...apologies if taken that way.
