I hadn't heard anything back from the church since I found out they double booked for June 9 so I finally called today. The WC acted like it was no big deal and was like "Yeah, you are still booked for the 9th." She was so nonchalant that it ticked me off, but was a relief at the same time.
I guess the pastor there has a two point charge (is the pastor of 2 small churches) so FI and I will be using this church and he has switched the other couple to his other church. Phew! Crisis averted!
