Hey ladies! How's it going around here? I swear I heard some crickets chirping.

Okay, maybe not.

How's life with all of you? Catch me up, it's been a while

Over here we're doing great! My bachelorette party is tomorrow night (holy crap, I just typed TOMORROW) and Sunday is my final fitting AND our housewarming party. It's going to be a busy weekend

Saturday is exactly 2 weeks from our leave date. The wedding excitement is finally back

Wow! Brea! So excited for you! Glad the wedding excitement is back!

All is good with me. I am just getting over a severe head cold so it is my 1st day back in the office (been working from home)....very strange to not be wearing pjs or yoga pants while working...lol.

Planning is going well here. I had a great conversation last night with my WC about vendor meetings and we are picking out cakes/food to taste . Yum!

We leave exactly 2 weeks from Saturday for our vendor meeting trip. So Brea you & I will both be on Maui at the same time!! I am so excited to go back there and meet everyone we will be working with (and also relax) as last time we were there we just looked at venues. It will also be the first time we go to Maui as an engaged couple :-) We both are super excited and counting the days!

Other than that not much new here. I am just ready for the weekend so I can rest and fully recover and also do some serious work on our website and finish our registries.

Brea,

We arrive on the 8th and leave on the 14th. We are staying in Kaanapali at the Honua Kai. We will be meeting with Stella Blues, Aloha Events, Dellables, Maui Wedding Cakes and Ghiselani Cakes so far vendor wise. We are also going to Tommy Bahama's on Tuesday night with our WC to hear Jaime Lawrence sing as he is most likely singing at our wedding. And then our engagement shoot is Wednesday afternoon in South Maui with Anna Kim, our photographer.

I may also try to line up some meetings with hair/makeup vendors but not sure yet.

You are staying in South Maui right?? So exciting to think we will be on island the same day as your wedding!

Brea, So glad you are excited again. You are in the home stretch. Enjoy the weekend, you have so much going on.

@Jess, also just getting over a cold that I think is now a sinus infection. Oh well need to make an appt. Isn't it nice to have the option to work from home?

FH and I spent last night buying some new bookshelves for our den. There is sooooo much DIY dueo wedding stuff that I am getting overwhelmed as to what needs to be done because it was too scattered. Anyway he is putting the new shelves together tonight and my daughter and I will spend this weekend finishing a few projects for each of us while he works more OT.

FH and I are leaving in 3 weeks for Phoenix and Vegas for 5 days. Can't wait! We really need a break and he is finally going to meet my Grandma. Booked our room in Vegas last night, PH Towers. Never stayed there but it looks nice and close enough to the strip.

Jealous we aren't making a scouting trip but the trip down south was more important to us so I just need to let it go and know that all of the research we have done, the WC, and advice the gals here have given will still make our day perfect.

Oh almost forgot. We are going to a church auction this Saturday Night. My daughter doesn't know it but we are going to bid on a big time wedding photographer for her. This woman is amazing. She travels all over shooting weddings and is in Italy this week shooting one in a castle. Really hope we can get it!

We'll actually be all over the place! We'll be on the south side the nights of the 8th through the wedding night (10-10) then we're going to Hana and we'll be there the night of the 11th and then spending the rest of the trip in Ka'anapali!

Morning! How exciting, what an action pack weekend you have Brea.

Jess & Forever I hope that you recover from your head colds quickly.

As for me, just been busy working on the house. This Saturday the Fi and I are participating in a mud run obstacle course with some friends, then my neice's 3rd birthday is on Sunday. So in between all that craziness I hope to finish painting the bedroom closets so the carpets can be installed. I swear the weeks are flying by way too quickly.

Let us know how the "mud run" goes. We thought of signing up for one at our local park on the 8th but my daughters bridal shower is the same day. I think FH may do it without me but to be honest I am a bit jealous.

<div>You should try to schedule a cake tasting with Cake Bakery/Cakewalk. She's our baker and I looooved her flavors. Just a suggestion. :) We also did a tasting with Maui Wedding Cakes and ended up ranking the 3 out of 3 we tried...</div>

I feel like I'm peeking my head out from under a rock here! Back to school is hard. I'm working with a ton of kids who should be spec ed, but haven't been identified yet and it's making my life challenging.

Have fun ladies, those of you who are heading out soon. I wish we could go back sooner. In WR news, FI's ring came in yesterday, so I'll pick it up this weekend, and we're just waiting to hear on some final details from teh hotel. Stupid island time!! I want my answers!!

In house news, it's still empty. The house has been ready for 3 weeks now, and they're hoping for utilities to be finished and have us moved in by the end of Oct. Boo. Living in my parents basement at the moment. Whee!!

Great thread, Brea. I also feel like I've been so MIA. Work has been THESUCK lately. Like 6am to 1am for a few weeks straight. I'm exhausted and run down. I also just realized this work schedule has resulted in me putting on a lot of weight quickly (UGH) so I am kind of panicked and trying to start getting back on track. Sigh...
