I can’t seem to even make up my mind about what colors I want. Every time I think I have something in mind I see something else that I like. First I really wanted a vintage feel with lace and ivory, pinks, and little bit of grey. Now I’m not sure. I keep seeing yellow and it is just screaming my name. I want to use lemons and maybe limes, but I don’t think lace would look good with that and I still want to use some pinks. Not that I really even like pink that much then my FI asked why we weren’t using any purple since I like purple! Now I’m thinking purple and lemon would look nice. Like a lavender purple! Our plates are white with a silver edge. I haven’t bought the plates yet so I guess I can change them. UGH I feel so lost which people can probably tell by reading this. I feel all over the place and none of this has been fun! I just don’t have any vision and so much other stuff is going on. Maybe this isn’t the right time for a wedding….

You don't have to pick just one or two colors. If you like all those colors but want a vintage feel, just pick the soft pastel colors of those. Heck, bridesmaid dresses don't even have to be all the same color anymore. You can literally do just about anything with that theme.

Our colors are navy and yellow. The other day I nearly called FI and asked if we could change it to navy and pink. We haven't actually added any yellow yet so we could change it. I had to fight the urge and kept my mouth shut lol!

We are doing purple and grey. I thought I was going to be a yellow/gray bride myself but it just didn't work with the dark modern carpet in my venue. Just keep your venues in mind and you'll figure it out! Pinterest it up and see what you gravitate towards!

We are doing navy and pink. I am so happy he suggested it so I didn't seem like the bridezilla who is making the groom wear pink, even though the only pink he and the groomsmen will have on is the boutonniere.

I may have tricked him into suggesting it, but he doesn't need to know that.

We are having our wedding outside and right now have a blank slate since the tent and chairs are white and I got white linens. I am kind of glad Joe suggested purple, the more I think about it the more I like lavender, lemon, and a little lime. I might throw in some light candy like pink. I just feel so overwhelmed like I have done nothing and alls I talk about is the wedding. Joe keeps saying we have done a lot but I just don't see it. I'm one of those people who likes everything done at once this drawn out process of planning is not my style!

I too am a color changer. We are having a beach wedding so naturally if you get married at the beach then you MUST have blue (my mother), we it was cobalt blue and white. Then my FI decided he wanted to wear red so we changed it to white and red. Then we decided to drastically downsize so it was hot pink, eggplant, and kelly green. Then I found some plates that I LOVE now it is black, white, and small pops of pink.

Until you start buying stuff with color you can change them as many times as you want lol.

I've been wishy washy with the colors too! First i wanted light green and peach, but FI thought the BMS would look like Yoda - so that got nixed! Then i was thinking Red and Yellow, since I've always loved red. Now I'm on a teal and gold kick... I have to make up my mind soon since my BMs have to order their dresses soon! This is the desicion i've been putting off like crazy!!! I love your color options though and recently saw a centerpiece with lemon wedges at the botton. It was super cute! Yellow and purple complement well. I would just say use the same values of each color and you'll be fine.

I'm doing Purple and Gold. Purple is my favorite color, and gold, well the FH loves the lakers so that wins. And yellow flowers are my favorites.

It's a color combination that works for multiple seasons, and you can use various shades and still be in the same color scheme.

I threw myself into the fall theme, so our colors are primarily cranberry and burnt orange. Our original colors were gray and lt pink, but they clashed horribly with the reception venue we chose. I still miss the idea

Don't fret. I was a gray/yellow bride. Until I bought my dress. My dress is champagne with ivory lace, so champagne and yellow clashed. We are now going with gray bridesmaid dresses, with our flowers/accents being cream, blush pink and sage green. It goes well with the venue, but honestly, I wouldn't stress about it - something you choose NON RELATED to colors, will end up dictating your colors. It was like a light bulb went off when I bought my dress, and those colors just seemed to fit.

I had a really hard time with the colors too! Like it was seriously stressing me out because I felt like I couldn't start doing anything else until I got that part figured out.

I finally, just chose some colors I like (gray, teal, mustard), but decided I wasn't going to really be bound by them all that much. My bridesmaid dresses are going to be closer to navy. The flowers are going to have mostly orange, burgandy and light pink. I'm really just picking things that I like and not worrying too much if it's within the color scheme of my "colors." If that makes sense. It might end up looking like a hot mess to everyone else but at least I'll be happy with it!

I'm sure whatever you pick will look beautiful though

We are doing Orange and gray. BMs and GM in gray with orange flowers. My dress is ivory and full of lace. I've been thinking of trying to incorporate pearls into the decor (centerpieces, cake, in my bouquet, etc.). I think that will tie my dress and the colors together.

I chose my colors becuase I like them, and think they look nice together. I wasn't worried about clashing with the venue, it's fairly neutral, and once the lights are dimmed, you can't tell anyway.

We've developed a travel theme with suitcases, trunks, postcards, and paper planes.

Omg thank goodness for your posts I wanted the exact same think romantic pinks and greys. Errrrr as of yesterday hated my option of pink for bridesmaid dresses so fell in love with violet. It was better for fall and the pale pinks just didn't pop with the richness f my venue. Breathe it's ok but frustrating as all hell

I finally decided on Lemon, lavender, and grey. I figure I can always throw some pinks in with it. Got some paint swatches at Lowes and am happy with the combo. I really wanted to use lemons in my decor I just think they are so fresh and inviting. Since we are doing an outside wedding I thought it would be nice...

I originally wanted Tiffany blue and brown, but FI wanted blue and green because they are our favorite colors. It sounds weird, but I love it and our rationale. I do second guess my dress though when I see others. I hear its all super normal.
