Bridal Registry 'Free Gift'?

I got a call today that I won a free honeymoon and a free set of Champagne Toasting Flutes from a drawing I signed up for.

Anyone know if this is for real?

    I got that.  Do you have to go to a dinner?  My FI and I were going to go but changed our mind at the last minute.  It's only like a 3 day honeymoon, btw.  And I've heard bad stories.  But then again I've also heard of people that went for the gifts and ignored the sales pitches that were made.  We didn't go, but google the number and the company before you agree to go.  I'm pretty sure they try and sell you stuff when you go pick up your prizes.

    Are they making you sit through some kind of presentation? I agree with some of the PP a lot of those things are bad news. Just remember nothing is every "FREE" there are some kinda strings attached. Definitely research the company and see what the reviews/ other brides have to say.
