Destination Wedding Mass/RI

I live in Alaska and my fiance is currently deployed. He is from Mass so we are having our wedding there. Although its not a destination wedding for his family it will be for my friends and family. I would like to have a beach wedding and reception at the same location. Reception can be inside or tented for 75 guests. My budget for everything is 10k. I would also be willing to do something nice in the city. I would love a B&B or some place guests can spend the night but at this point anything will do. Please help!!

PM me your email address and I will forward you some of the pricing I received from a few venues if I still have them on file or any links I have.

I looked at the Beachmoor in Buzzards Bay, Heritage Plantation in Sandwich and the Sea View in Dennis for places that did reception and ceremony.

I live on the Cape but am having my reception in Plymouth at the East Bay Grill.  Their food is amazing and their pricing is good too!  I honestly don't know if they do ceremonies but you can do outside at Brewster Gardens which is across from the water.  It is absolutely gorgeous.  But I don't think you can set up chairs.  I went to a wedding there before and I am pretty sure we all had to stand.  I chose a church because I am paranoid about weather.  Plymouth is a pretty cool place to get married because there is a ton to do there besides just the beach and shop and it is not too far from Boston.

Do you have a date picked yet?

  • look into Bournedale Function or The Flying Bridge both places are on the water and willing to work with a budget...Bourndale has cabins for guest and looks like fun. Good luck!
