Wedding Night Hotel??

Hello ladies!

I am getting married in Stone Harbor next September.  I was wondering if any of you have hotel recommendations for newlyweds?  FI & I always stay with family when we're down the shore since he has so many relatives that live there.  It looks like most hotels in Stone Harbor & Avalon are more like motels and not really what we're looking for.  We discussed a B&B- like in Cape May or something- but it seems like that could get awkward for our neighbors when we... ahem... participate in wedding night activity.

Can anyone recommend a nice place for us to spend our first night as newlyweds?  Do we have to travel all the way to Atlantic City for a nice hotel??

The Windrift is a great hotel.  They have balconies overlooking the ocean.  I believe it is technically in Avalon.  It is right on the border of Stone Harbor/Avalon.

I agree on the windrift, its a great place. Cape may B&B's are so cute too, but can be more expensive then youre standard hotel....also the drive from stone harbor to cape may might be an issue if you have guests that will be drinking.
