Has anyone been to these wedding venues?

Hey Knotties,
I am getting married in April 2011 and was looking into some wedding venues around the Atlanta area. I came across Che'ne Rogue that is 10 mins from my house, as well as The Grande at Kennesaw, and Rose Hall event center. Those were the three that my fiancé and I narrowed down to because they are so close to home. Has anyone gotten married or been to a wedding at one of these venues? I'd love some feedback and pricing for these places before I take another step. Thanks all and congratulations!

    Hi there :)

    I went to Che'ne Rouge for a tour and honestly, it's not worth the money. It all looks very glamorous and out in the country on the website, but it's next to a busy road and you can hear the cars. You have to use them for everything - you have to go the all-inclusive route and their photographer's sample pictures were not very good. I thought something was fishy when they had hardly any reviews online, and I was right - they emailed endlessly about booking with them, and I eventually had to ask them to stop hassling me, because I'd already decided against them.

    Sorry, I hate to be negative, but I'd steer clear of them.

    I emailed them a few days ago and they finally got back to me last night. Their price range is WAY out of my budget but your input definitely helped as well. Thanks and no worries, any feedback is great :) I am still on the hunt but hopefully I'll find something soon! Thanks for the help!

    I went to The Grane at Kennesaw last month. The actual ballroom is very small and many of my guests would have to sit outside (aka tent rental, etc). It was not very big and the outside of the building looked in disrepair due to age. They allow you to bring in outside alcohol, which would save on costs. My fiance and I both agreed we could do better for the price, so we are still looking. Good luck to you too!
