What did you do with your dress after the wedding?

I just got married and I'm not sure what I want to do with the dress.  Does anyone have any ideas for future use or making something else out of it?

Did anyone dryclean/preserve it, if so about how much did it cost?

Here are a couple different ideas that you can consider...
    1. I have no price on drycleaning/preserving the gown but you could always do that and save it for a family member (sister/daughter/cousin etc) and have them start a tradition of wearing the gown for their wedding.
    2. I have actually seen the top bodice of the dress molded and placed in a shadow box with special memoirs from the wedding day (favors/dried flower petals/pictures) glued in the box around the bodice.
    3. This idea would be one that would require giving up the gown completely but there is an organization that takes donations of gowns (wedding, prom, homecoming etc) and they make gown for infants of bereaved parents. The website is www.threadsoflove.org

I am not employed or affiliated with the organization...I read about this in my local newspaper and thought it was an amazing idea and a true gift from the heart. I have decided that I will be donating mine after my wedding day!
