Easy private wedding help

I'm going to be going to Las Vegas for my friends wedding on 11/12/13.  Me and my ex-husband are thinking about getting re-married.  We started dating when we were 15, married after 10 years, divorced after 7 years, back together 3 years later and have been together now for 8 years.  I don't want to take away from my friends wedding so I'm thinking maybe we can take off for a couple hours privately and have a very simple wedding, just the two of us, maybe my sister too since she'll be there.  I had an incredible wedding the first time with him so I don't need all that again.  Can anyone recommend a place?   Any good place for walk-in (wow that sounds so cheezy).

Thanks!

Little White Chapel is where many I know have gotten married. It's the most famous chapel in Vegas. It's where Michael Jordan, Joan Collins, Brittney Spears and many others have gotten married. A package will include limo ride to get marriage license and pics and ceremony for around $500 or $600 if I remember right. There website is http://www.alittlewhitechapel.com/fivechapels/little_white_chapel/ Hope this helps!

  • There's also weddingwagon.com and mobileminister. Both will meet you anywhere you like and perform a ceremony.

Mobile Minister is Rev. Roland who married my wife and I; we did have a big formal ceremony but he does those and everything in between.  We really loved him, he'll come to you.  If you don't mind just sneaking away to have a private wedding, perhaps have him meet you somewhere interesting like the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains, Eiffel Tower, etc.

Just don't forget to take care of all the pre-req's:

  • VG, Didn't you get married at MB? Is he someone you requested there? I heard that we could request a particular minister but I don't know anyone so I was going to ask around? I saw one online that I just didn't care for at all and with my luck I would get him! Lol

  • Thanks for all the info.  The wedding wagon and the Little White Chapel sounds like they would fit the bill.  So, do most places that offer transportation also stop to pick up the marriage license or is that something we have to do on our own?

Any feedback on Chapel of the Bells - Only reason is that I notice their package for $195 include minister fees and transportation from hotel, marriage bureau, chapel and back to the hotel.
  • ive heard great things about little white chapel too, if we had less guests and stayed less days we would have just gone with them quick and easy =)

  • My husband and I got married at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel and are going back there in September to renew our vows. They have a sweet white New England style chapel and start from 199.
