Rehearsal dinner centerpieces

I know this is a weird idea but my in laws are hosting rehearsal and are using a hotel banquet room with white linens and no centerpieces planned. Do you have any ideas for cheap and easy centerpieces? I was even thinking about a bowl of Christmas ornaments.

    How about just candles?

I like the ornament idea. My mom does that on her dining room table with silver ornaments in a clear tall bowl/vase and it looks really pretty. You could also do something like put some cranberries in the bottom of a glass jar with a pillar candle in it.

I like the pp idea of the cranberries with a pilar candle and you could even alternate some of the tables with poinsetta plants with the pots wrapped in a nice foil paper.  That should fill up the space nicely!

I like the poinsetta idea and the ornaments....you can also do cylinder vases different heights with food coloring (pick the color) and a floating candle. If you live near the swap shop you can go to the floral section and buy flowers for 5 dollars a bouquetmand put them in vases.

Thanks ladies! We are going to first check if the doubletree has anything for the tables and the second choice is the ornaments
