Anyone have experience at The Defoor Centre? I'm considering having the wedding there and I'd love to hear about the food and overall experience.

    I've never been to a wedding there, but have attended a danceoriented cancer benefit for several years in a row. The food has always been yummy plus variety of selections, food at right temp, etc. and the service has always been prompt and courteous as well.

    I have also been to several big events there and wanted to have my wedding there. After speaking with someone about packages I could never get back in touch with them. I sent emails, left voicemails, and sent emails again until I finally gave up. The food was alright, but I hope everything works out for you.

    We're holding our reception at The Defoor Centre on 11/17/12! I have had nothing less than awesome experiences with Michelle, the event manager. The events I've been to in the past have always been great, food good, drinks great. I have no complaints!

    We are having out ceremony and reception at the Defoors Centre in September and are super excited about it. The venue is very pretty and unique and to me seems like the best wedding venue value in the city! I have had only positive experiences working with the coordinator there. She seems to go above and beyond for her job. I feel exteremly confident that the wedding will be amazing and go very smoothly there. I highly recomend this venue to others!

    Congratulations on your upcoming wedding I have been looking for Brides that have conducted their weddings at the Defoor Center or that are planning their ceremoney to get ideas for decorating the venue. My wedding will be there in 2013 and I am really excied but need some advice about decor. Any ideas to share?

    I am getting married there this August and so far Michelle has been great with everything. At the last open house I went to, the food wasnt that great, had been much better in the past so im hoping that it was just a fluke.


    I have looked around quite a bit and they seem to be the best deal. Only issue is finding a resonably priced hotel, being that it is in Midtown.
