Candle Shuffle? (Poll)

Hey ladies! I recently moved my wedding up six months. I had already purchased about 20 candles as table decor because we were having a night wedding. Now, our reception will be over by 5 o'clock. They are all vanilla and I'm not a big fan of vanilla so I'd really rather not keep them. So, should I use them anyway, hand them out as favors, or something else? TIA.

Gifts for people ... I know plenty of folks who do like vanilla candles.
Or... you could even try selling them on the Wedding Classifieds or your local board.

Sell them.  And you shouldn't burn scented candles around people anywhere other than your own home.

Scents mix with food, so you wouldn't want them burning while you have food.

And other people may be irritated by their smell

I like the idea of giving them out as gifts for other things.  Like if there is anyone from your family who helped a lot throughout this all give one to them.  Use them as bday gifts and maybe even WP gifts and to people who maybe did readings give them one! :)

If you are not a fan of vanilla then I would not use them yourself.

Don't bother with them as favors unless you can do 1 per couple.

Couldn't you still use them as decor?  I just wouldn't burn them since they're scented.
