officiant for a dw

I was wondering if anyone else on this board is having a DW and if so, how to pick an officiant?  We don't have the extra funds to fly the pastor of our church to our wedding (and we go to a big church and he doesn't know us THAT well anyway), but aren't sure about how to find a different one.

    google is good or talk to your venue/coordinator. They usually have a list of people who can perform the ceremony especially if it is a place where they usually have DWs

    Is your DW at a resort?  Usually the resort will have a list of preferred vendors, including officiants.  They would be the best people to direct you to someone who knows the drill, and used to doing weddings for OOT people (international?)

    We had so many pastors on our guest list that it was just difficult to pick which one we wanted to do the ceremony.  I would agree with checking with your venue to see what suggestions they might have.  You could also try TK if there is a local board for the location that you've picked.
