My friend was able to find a home for his cat, but he still had to put one of his two dogs in a shelter. But in other news, he landed safely in Colorado.

    I had a GSP and was one of the best dogs I've ever had. They are a great breed. I am sure he will get adopted ASAP.

    Will never understand how people can move to a new home and not take their pets with them. They wouldn't move to a home that doesn't allow their kids so it shouldn't be any different with the animals. They could have had them fostered until they found a place but obviously they didn't care enough to do that. Hopefully they never own another animal again. Too many unresponsible pet owners, so so sad.

    100% agreed Amy. I got my pointer from a person that bought him but realized they didn't have the time....its very sad... you should see how many people up here in alaska get rid of their pets because of that same reason. :(

    He doesn't have a home up there yet. He. his wife, and their 13 year old son are in a hotel. His wife's job needed her up there ASAP and they have been trying to find a home for their pets for the past few months.
