Best Bridesmaids Gifts? Name it!

Hi,

I'm stumped about bridesmaid gifts. I want something different--I know lots of people love Etsy, but what exactly from there have people liked? I'm trying to stay away from the tote bag, same old stuff category.

I think one of the best gift ideas I heard was someone buying some cute Converse sneakers for their girls and monogramming the back of the shoe with the wedding date.

What are some of the best ideas you girls have heard?

    And I think I have it--I am planning on using German bearded irises at my wedding reception as the main flower in my centerpieces...I am thinking of going on Etsy and having someone do small paintings of the German bearded iris and giving one to each girl.

    i totally used that kvetch thread for inspiration as well. and i my post should be on there but i got my chicks organic bathrobes from pottery barn, mini-leatherman tools (like a swiss army knife) in pretty colors, and then instead of bouquets they carried peacock clutch purses from Clutch That on Etsy. our readers got electronics charging stations that hold the cords together neatly and look handsome.
