But I like it better here.

I'm going to order DD's invitations for her birthday party, and I'm half asquee, and half shocked that she's fast approaching one.  I'm also ordering her dress for her portraits and her party, because portraits are the week after next.

Oh, and my mother miraculously found a way to fix my grandmother's and her travel plans once she learned that we weren't changing the date of the party.  Drama settled.

But seriously:  one year old.  Damn.

    There's a lot of 1yr old shock going on here. She didn't come on to AW it, but didn't Lil Payne just turn 1?

    are you doing a "theme"? Nephew had sesame street stuff and niece had princess stuff and a pink cat cake.

    Originally, we were going to do ladybugs, because her nursery is done in ladybugs and she LOVES them.  (I think it's the black and red combo.)  But then I changed my mind because she is even more interested in animals, so that's our new theme.

    Oh yeah, and time flies, huh?  Every birthday the kiddo has, I just marvel @ him and how grown up he's becoming.  I still think of him as being the 3 year old I met 6.5 years ago.

    Gawd girl clothes are ridonkulously cute. I like both dresses and if I had a girl, she'd be a 2 dress girl.

    But one year old. I cannot even imagine.

    Another vote for dress #1. 

    And yes, girls' clothes are unbelievably cute - even when they get bigger.  My niece is almost 4 and it is still all I can do not to buy her new outfits every time I'm in a store.

    Oh, and Candi?  Yeah, I'm making DD's cake and there's no way I can pull that one off.  (Even without the dog, LOL.)  She is getting one of these because I can get a Wilton cake pan for it:
