I love the orting manor. We almost booked there. But it is kind of over done for us ortites! I have been to a few wedding there. Actually in the photo gallery I went to high school with most of the people shown and the guy walking with the bm in pink is a ex boyfriend LOL It is very pretty. They have done major improvements to that house. My sister actually broke her arm there when she was little. Every wedding I have been to there was great. I will give you a heads up  though Parking is super tight. Since I dont live far we  always just walk. There is a skate park down the road I think there is a big parking lot there but dont quite remember. People usually just park along the road. I am sure they already informed you of this though LOL. We are getting married in Orting too and if I remember right arent you getting married on July 24 too?? Are you from around here? Have you picked a florist? I would love to talk wedding with someone from pierce county :) No offense seattle girls LOL

    I am actually not from Seattle or Pierce Co. I grew up near here though. I will PM you that private stuff. I live in Kent now... That's the closest to Pierce I think i've lived...
    Have their been weddings at the Manor for many years? It's such a cool old house! But I was worried, although we are not using the inside of the house, one of her rugs smells like dog potty... :( One of her dogs is really old.

    I am using Lana @ Seattle Flower Co. She's really sweet! and was honestly the best price I could find!! She's already coming out to Orting that day! You should check her out. I will share more with you in my PM.   

    Oh, and I am a litlte worried about parking. I would love to find that location to that parking lot you mentioned. I could put it on the invites. We are expecting anywhere between 125-145 people!

    wow I just wrote up some huge reply and it didnt go through ugh bummer.
    She just redid the house about 5 years or so ago and started hosting weddings then. I havent heard anything bad about them except the parking and it can get a bit cramped back there. That sucks about her dog.......I wonder why she would let it smell.......I pmed you back by the way

    That would be funny if we met after getting ready and took a pic together all gussied up in our wedding dresses.

    we are getting married 5 mn max from the manor. If you keep going through orting instead of stopping at the manor, up the road before south prairie is where we are getting married LOL And the girls are getting ready at mt house like 5 blocks away from the manor and the guys are getting ready at FMIl like 10 houses away from the manor. So dont block it here drive way! LOL
