idk about my dress anymore...PIP

I went for my first fitting 2 weeks ago (i cant get it out of my mind)--and i am not happy with it anymore...i dont want to say anything and hurt my moms feelings, but im just not 'feeling' it anymore...anyone else having this issue? i have my second fitting tommorow and hoping i have different thoughts...

    I had this issue & just bought a new dress off recycledbride.com b/c my dress made me feel awful.  My mom understood & my FI told me he would pay for another dress as long as I stopped crying (yes it was that bad).  I went & tried on more dresses & then looked for them on ebay, recycledbride & another site so I wouldn't feel guilty about spending money on another dress.  I am going to donate the original dress to Brides Against Breast Cancer...excellent cause & tax write off.  Just my experience. Edit: let's see pictures!

    Sadly I don't think I have ever loved my dress. It fits, pretty and it has a slimming effect. I thought about looking again but just couldn't justify spending the money again. Though I don't love the dress I do feel good in it and I think my FI will like it as well.

    About 5 minutes after I purchased my dress I knew it was a mistake.  I have been obsessing about it.  I went back to the dress store to try on veils and I put the sample dress on to try them on and I couldn't wait to take it off.  I have been looking to buy another dress, but I am really short (barely 5'1) and sincerely doubt I could find a petite in my size in the dress I think I want.
    I have been debating about it for the past few days and figure I have to decide by Monday since my first fitting is next Saturday!

    I'm sorry you are having problems with your dress.  I tried on so many dresses and went to several bridal shops.  I really didn't want to have the feeling of being unsure so even after I found my dress I didn't buy it.  I wanted to sleep on it.  I even went to DB and tried it on one more time.  My mom even took pictures for me so I could look them over.  I know my dress is the right one without a doubt!  I didn't have that bawling my eyes out moment but I just knew it was the one!

    I'm actually a two dress bride. I bought one on my very first shopping trip with my mom becuase it was a beautiful dress and was on sale for $100. I just couldn't pass it up! 

    After a few days, though, I wasn't sure and I really wanted to go shopping with my mom, maid of honor, FMIL and sisters so I decided to go out again. I ended up buying a second dress and I am sure it's the one! I love it so much and pretty much want to wear it every second of every day.

    If you still don't feel good about it after your fitting tomorrow and you have the budget to get another I say go for it. I'm sure your mom just wants you to have a dress you love and feel beautiful in so I wouldn't worry about hurting her feelings. I know I was concerned my mom would be dissappointed but she loves my new dress, too!
