pls recommend a good hair stylist

hi ladies, i have lived here for 9 yrs and still havent found a skilled stylist/colorist for my hair.

i have slightly tricky hair when it comes to highlighting- most stylists can't figure out how to tone down the brassiness correctly.

if you have any rec's for a stylist in NYC (no boroughs please) that can do a cut and full head of highlights for under $200 i would love to hear abt them!!

    It is so difficult to find a good and affordable hair stylist. I recently found one.
    She works in shape in murray hill her name is Lana. I love the way she cuts and colors.

    My cuts & my color don't come from the same place.  I also have - HAD - a brassyness issue...

    My people are amazing.

    Kate at Bumble & Bumble uptown for cuts
    Joseph at Blackstone's salon in the East Village for the best highlights I've ever had - been going to him for years and have followed him through 3 different salons (starting at Bumble).

    Eve Whittington  she is amazing and doing both mine and my sisters weddings.  we just had a trial with her and we absolutely love her.  she has an ad on this site you should check her out
