Desperate to find a small venue in Philadelphia!! (Or surrounding areas)

Hi everyone!

I am so overwhelmed with trying to find a small venue in Philadelphia or places around it. We have about 50 guests coming and I need somewhere small! Outside or inside. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Nikki

I've been to a party at Duportail House near Valley Forge Park.  It would be perfect for a small wedding.  I also looked at Bolingbroke Mansion on the Main Line and that also is great for smaller events.

My wedding was at the Kimberton Inn in Kimberton (duh).  We had about 40ish people, but could have had less without issue there.  They have a number of rooms/locations in the restaurant that can be made private for your wedding.  They were also super fantastic to work with, and I can't say I would have done anything differently.

We are having our wedding at Radnor Valley Country Club in Villanova. They do not have minimums on Friday or Sundays. We are having a Sunday wedding of 40 people. They have amazing options for outside or inside and ceremony site inhouse too. Also, they are so friendly!!! They do not have packages, so they can work with any budget as you pick what you want and can cut out a lot of extra money options. Good Luck!

ck out catering by lia, they have several rooms, one might fit your needs.  The Print Center would be a perfect size, small outdoor area too but in the city near Rittenhouse Sq. on Latimer.  Ck with the historical society in Philadelphia or the surronding areas, they have a lot of smaller options.  Also Bed and Breakfasts.  Some are in the city, some outside.

We were married at Faunbrook B&B in West Chester.  It was absolutely gorgeous and the owners were a dream to work with.

I booked The Gables at Chadds Ford for my wedding next October. They have a gorgeous banquet room that holds up to 100 people with no dance floor. We're inviting between 75 to 80 guests to our wedding. $300 to reserve the room, and their menu options are really affordable, too.
  • Averne, can u post approx pricing? and which room it's in since it looks on their web pg like there are two, one w/large glass windows, one w/a brick wall.  It looks promising.
