Bachelorette in Providence

Hi!!
I'm looking for bars/restaurants to visit while in Providence on August 4th for my best friend's bachelorette party.  Can anyone give me any suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Bachelorette in Providence

  • What type of restaurant are you looking for?  One for dinner and than dancing afterwards or more low key spots?  That will help narrow it down.

Yea, probably one for dinner and then something a little bit more fun to kick it up for the rest of the night.
  • Anywhere on Federal Hill is good for food and not too expensive if you do pizzas and appetizers.

Point Street Dueling Pianos is a good time, some dancing, but not too clubby.  You can also get a table which is nice.  Whiskey Republic is also in the area and does have DJs and bands, which is another fun type of atmosphere.

Some restaurants on Federal Hill and Thayer Street turn into clubs later at night, Kartabar (mediterrean food) and Viva/Paragon (all on Thayer Street).

  • Thanks for clarifying! PP had great ideas! Federal Hill is always good for dinner, Siena is my favorite but you really can't go wrong. The dueling piano bar is also a good idea, I went and was not that impressed with it but that might have just been me. The place is almost too big to give you that fun piano bar experience. My friend just went to a bachelorette at Vanity a new restaurant/lounge and they had a blast. I haven't been but they did a late dinner and then stayed for dancing in the VIP area. It was not as hardcore clubby as other places in Providence she said but still allowed them to dance and relax. GL I am sure you girls will have fun!
