  We are Phoenix Suns fans... BIG fans so that was the theory behind it, we are doing more purple than anything but orange accents here and there.

  Yes, same here. My BM dresses are purple and the guys will have on purple vest under there tux. The flowers, centerpieces and favors will have a mixture of the purple and orange. I get really happy when I hear other brides have the same colors.

  I'm so late seeing this. But yes I had a lot of fun at my shower. Purple and orange are my colors. It is funny because when I first picked it, everyone looked at me crazy like the colors didn't go together. Lol. I picked the colors because my favorite color is purple and I knew everyone would expect that to be my color. I wanted to prove them wrong so I went with burnt orange. However, before we pushed the wedding back a year, my first wedding date was 9/10/11 and all I saw paired with orange was brown. I figured that resembled fall colors too much. While looking thru a Knot magazine I saw a wedding with purple and orange and decided at that moment I could use both colors.

  I am so excited that someone else has my colors My BMs are wearing purple dresses also and the guys with purple vests. I am debating if my flower girls should wear orange or purple sashes. What do you ladies think?
