Need someone for alterations-pref Western Burbs

Hi ladies- From reading some of your posts I have alread contacted Mary Catomy. Unfortunately she is already booked solid. My wedding is November 21, 2009. So sooner rather than later I need to begin my fittings. Does anyone know anyone that is expierenced with bridal alterations and has a proven track record for quality work. Ideally located in the western suburbs or around O'Hare/Des Plaines area(where I work). I would totally appreciate it! Kelly

    Mary Burlingame in Glen Ellyn. She changed the back of my dress from a zipper to a corset. It was heavily beaded so it wasn't an easy task! She also worked with the coordinator at my reception venue and altered her dress from a size 10 to a size 2. Her number is: 630-462-1315

    Sue's Bridal in Naperville is highly recommended here!  She has an awesome personality and does fabulous alterations!  Her prices are also very reasonable!  She books up quickly though, so try calling her soon.  (630) 369-6056

    I've used Mary Burlingame for years-many formal dresses, resizing vintage and designer dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and just ordinary tailoring. She has never disappointed in the past 8 years. Now, she has done my bridal gown as well!
