This is more of a PSA than anything, but for those of you who are fans of Which Wich, all the DFW locations are having 99 cent sandwiches today!  But it's limit one per person.

David and I are individually making 2 stops on the way home so that we can hopefully get 4 sandwiches today!  I know, I'm cheap.  Money mouth

The room that I'm working in is 63.5 degrees. I know because there's a giant thermometer right in front of my face!

Also, it's supposed to snow here tonight through Friday, and I'm a little nervous because I've never really had to drive in snow/ice since TWU and UNT always shut down at the slightest sign of freezing weather. I've been told that Vanderbilt never closes, which makes sense considering there's a giant hospital attached to the university. I guess I'll be leaving the house early tomorrow!

As much as I HATE exercising, I can't deny that I feel better in general when I've been working out.  I hate having to admit that.  I think if it didn't make me feel so much better I would just accept being a little chubby.

I've been listening to an audio book for several weeks, and I've never had this big of a crush on a fictional character before.  I'm sad that I'm near the end of the book because I'm going to miss him.  The really odd part is that it's a woman reading the book, doing a sexy Scottish accent for the male character, so I'm in love with this woman's portrayal of a fictional character.  sigh.

    Stephie,
At least you're not as cheap as my FIL:  he buys lunch meat in bulk and then freezes it for several months.  The first time I went to BR, we were being given frozen ham that had pretty much frozen solid.  He was pealing off ham strips, for lack of a better term.  The center had pretty much congealed together and so all he could get off the ham "patty" were the outside edges.  I ended up being offered a peanut butter on rye sandwich.

We're approaching finals and these kids are whacked out of their minds.  If one more whines to me about having to do work, I might start tearing my own hair out.

Hey ladies. I've been in a total funk lately. I have no idea why. I'm tired and lazy and reclusive. I need to get out of this! I've been lurking a little on here lately, but not posting, so congratulations to all that have gotten married lately and I love everyone's pictures that have been posted.

I think I need to start working out again...maybe that will at least help with the tiredness. I was thinking of making myself take b-pics for our anniversary so that I would have a body goal to work towards.

    Shannon-- What book?

It's the Outlander series by Diana Gabbledon.  Outlander is the first book in the series, and I'm on Dragonfly in Amber, which is the second.  They're really long, but VERY good! (Or as the hot Scottish guy sould say "verra gud"

Oh wow! That's right around the corner!

Shannon, my MIL loves Diana Gabbledon!  She got one of those books for Christmas.  I can't remember which one, but she's a pretty big collector.

I don't know if I would love the books as much as I do if I was reading them instead of listening to them, it's not the type of book I usually read, but the reader is amazing!  She does so many voices and accents, and really brings the story to life.  It's like listening to a movie :-)

On another note, I'm not a fan of Uggs, or boots over jeans in general, (Mainly because I'm bottom heavy and feel like it makes me look like a weeble) but I REALLY wish I had some this week.  Several of the girls in my class are wearing them, and I bet their toes aren't as cold as mine are :-(

I know, Shannon, I'm going to wish I had some too while traipsing through snow the next couple of days. I have put on my hat and scarf since it's so cold in here, but my feet and hands are freezing! I don't think I can type too well with gloves on, though.

I'm going to try to make it to the g2g! I fly out at the crack of dawn the next day for a ski trip (yays), so I might have to get home to pack, but I definitely would like to make it to this one.

I'm off today and met with my MOH and we took our kiddos to Chuck E Cheese! Haha! I still would rather spend my days off with my baby boy than doing anything else! :)

As much as I hate to admit it too, I feel 10 times better and not tired when I exercise.  I just wish we could be healthy and lose weight....without exercise, lol.

Ok, I have read all of the Outlander books and I loved them!  The writing was so good that I could just picture it and it is so romantic.  My mom actually read them first and gave them to me thinking I might like them and she was right.

Ok, apparently I am behind....I didn't realize she has written that many books.  I have only read the first four.  Guess I need to get on it....

After struggling with Alfred Angelos over my dress delivery date (long story I wont go into on this post) they just called and said that it will now be delivered by the end of January instead of end of March (keep in mind my date is 4/10/10). So I am beyond thrilled to not have to stress over that.

On that note... I would like to call/email Becky about having her do my alterations. How did ya'll approach her with it. Like wording. (I know this may sound silly, I just don't know how to ask her (put in words) about doing the alterations since I don't know her).

I would call her, rather than e-mail.  Just introduce yourself.  Just say, "hi, Becky.  I've been recommended to you by girls on The Knot" (she'll know what you're talking about) and ask her if she has any openings for her to alter your dress.  Give her a good idea of what you think she'll need to do to your dress and she'll tell you to bring along the shoes, and the undergarments you'll by wearing with your dress.

I am tired, I have been doing wedding/school stuff ALL day long. I don't know how people can be wedding planners because I am sick of it.

And I'm going to Galveston tomorrow! But since the weather decided to be dumb, I can't go to the beach :(

I was actually considering coming to the get together on Thursday, but my principal told me today he is sending me to a tech training for the next 3 Thursday evenings (1 of which will be FI's bday- boo).  Maybe next time.  I get some really cool technology stuff out of it, though- and extra duty pay.
