XP: Will my dress be done in time?

I had my 2nd dress fitting on the 15th - she said she had to make a couple more changes to the top and do the bustle. The length is fine.

So she told me she'd call when she was ready to schedule my final fitting. She said she couldn't do it until March 3rd!! My wedding is the next Saturday on the 10th!

Then it still has to be cleaned/steamed... makes me wonder if it's even going to be ready in time. I'm seriously worried.

    My guess is that the dress will already be cleaned and steamed for your final fitting. She has told me I'll pick up my dress at my final fitting, which is the week of the wedding, so my guess is that's what she's doing with you, too. Don't worry though, you know she's professional and will have your dress all ready to go!

    Tiger, you're probably right. I thought she had said that it would be steamed after the fitting for pickup the week of the wedding, but since my last fitting is so late she might have it already done for me. Crossing my fingers!!

    I'm almost certain it will be cleaned and steamed when you arrive for your final fitting. If it will make you feel better, give her a call and ask! Vendors get those kinds of questions all the time so I'm sure it won't bother her.
