So, you're familiar with Philly. I've never spent any time there other than when I was too young to go out there.
I'm trying to find some cool places to suggest to people for when they're in town for the wedding. What are some of your favorite Center City bars? What are great restaurants?
Also, I'm thinking of suggesting a place for my friends to meet on the Friday before the wedding, post-Rehearsal Dinner (since that's a limited guest list). Most of our guest list is going to be staying in the city that night, and I'd like to suggest a place for an informal "Welcome" . . . so something that would be a bar would probably be best. (We won't be hosting anything, but I will perhaps try to work out a drink special or something?)
Anyway, suggestions are welcome.
Also, PS, do our Moms know each other? My mom mentioned a coworker of hers whose daughter was getting married in Philly and her name was Colleen. Would be funny if it were you, although I realize the chance of that is relatively slim.
