My fiance and I are having a hard time choosing a photographer. We met with 4 already.. One I liked is too expensive and one he liked I didn't like. We have a wedding coordinator who recommnded people to us but they all seem to be sooo pricey.. 5000-6500 for just 8 hours, proofs and a cd. Anyone have experience with good non-posey photographers?

    I used Aga Images, it's over a year since my wedding and I still find excuses to chat with them...lol...they are simply awesome!

    Our photographer is in your budget and we love him! You check him out at MattRamosPhotography.com or MattRamosBlog.com. He's from Albany and very creative. Definitely non-posey.

    I am a wedding photographer, new to the NYC area, and I offer affordable rates. I am a photojournalist at heart, and a bride-to-be as well. I am easy to work with and will take beautiful candid photographs.

    I have been making appoinments as well and this is why I join the knot...prices are kind of hight
    I am meeting next week with a photographer name Elena Henry in NYC

    She's great on price, let's you pick what kind of services you want, easy to work with and truly a professional. Plus, keeping in touch with her is fun even after the wedding. She does engagement, family portraits, maternity photos and more.

    I love Laura! She is such a fantastic photographer! She really has a great eye for unique unposed pictures. Plus, she is super fun. I did a boudoir shoot with her and she made me feel sooo comfortable. She was already booked for my wedding date, but I would have used her in a heart beat.
