Vow Renewal at Venetian?????

I welcome comments and suggestions on this location for a 15 year vow renewal. Attendance will be intimate - no more than 10 people. I want the renewal to be elegant and fun since its New's Eve! I am interested in other's who are thinking of having their wedding/renewal or have attended a wedding/ renewal at the Venetian. Thinking about the bridge location.

I saw several weddings take place on the bridge, and unfortunately I wouldn't describe it as intimate. Anybody in the piazza area can stand around and watch. I am also not sure of the noise level.

A wedding on the bridge is open for everyone to see so it really isn't private. If you are okay with that, it is a great location. I was married in the Chapel at the Venetian and love it. Everything was perfect and I loved my coordinator. I highly recommend the Venetian for a wedding/renewal.

I'm looking at the Venetian's vow renewal options too!

I was wondering if anyone has any info on the Venezia Side Garden? This is the location option on the Garden Romance package -- is this the courtyard outside of the chapel that you can see in some of the photos on their site? Is it actually glass enclosed? I think I read one time that the pool area in the Venezia is actually indoors (which would be a plus for me -- no weather worries ; - ).

In response to 2010VR and the garden setting - first off - congratulations!
It depends on the time of year you plan to wed/renew. I spoke tpo a wedding coordinator and she informed me that the garden (outdoors) can be "chilly" during certain times of the year--especially December 31. When are you planning to renew? Are you wearing the same wedding dress as you did 10 years ago or planning to buy a new one? Yahoo- another renewal!

Hi dlbennett - thanks for the info on the garden. I don't think it's the spot I was thinking of (I was thinking it was off the private pool deck in the Venezia tower maybe). I really don't have my bearings as to where things are at the V, lol!

We're going in Oct. I'm not wearing my wedding dress again -- it's all packed up and preserved for now so I'm going to leave it. I may not even wear white -- thinking of maybe going in the complete opposite direction and doing something bold like red or pink. We'll see : ) Glad to see another vow renewer here - looking forward to hearing about your plans : ) I'm still looking at options right now -- Wynn, Venetian and Chapel of the Flowers are in the running for now.

Well 2010VR that makes 2 of us as far as where to hold the ceremony! LOL
Although, I am inclined to have it on the bridge at The Venetian. Don't mind if people are around ..the first time we got married in a hot air balloon so we are somewhat non-traditional. Scheduled an appointment for a trunk show- just learned that most trunk shows will over a small discount around 10% if dress purchased that day. Really like the versatility of Martina Liana style 260. Detachable skirt.

Went to David's Bridal ; however sales people seemed disinterested in helping a "renewal" find a dress. Seems they have lost the art of customer service.

dlbennet -- I love the dress you linked to -- so pretty! Back 10 years ago I bought my wedding dress during a trunk show and the bridal shop gave me 10% off the dress I picked, even though my dress was a different brand than the trunk show.
