Wedding band jeweler help

I was going to start looking in jewelry stores today for wedding bands, but I had no idea where to begin. Where do you guys recommend going to look for wedding bands on a budget? I don't really want to spend anymore than $500 on mine, but I still want to have a good amount to choose from!

Thanks!

  • We have always had a great experience at Shane Co in Minnetonka!
  • Thurston Jewelry in Uptown, Minneapolis. Locally owned, and the owner (Lloyd) will bargain with you. Also does custom work. We got our rings there and could not be happier with them.
  • We just got back from Jared in Maple Grove!  We got his wedding band using a $50 off coupon and since it was over $200, I got a free jewelry box :)  Ends today I think!

  • Shane Co. in Woodbury is AMAZING!! My FI and I spent 3 hours looking at engagement rings bc I had no idea what I wanted and the sales lady was SO SO HELPFUL! Plus they have a huge selection in lots of different price ranges. Good luck!
  • Arthur's Jewelers in Roseville is awesome. They're local, everyone there is super nice and helpful. H said that he could tell that his budget wasn't near as large as some of the other guys that were there when he went to look for my ring, but the owner helped him out and gave him just as much attention as anyone else. I found that they had by far the best selection of men's bands of any of the stores that I went to for his ring.

  • LOVE wedding day diamonds. I only went to the one in Burnsville, but I know they have 4 other locations.  Great selection and awesome customer service.
  • We loved Shane Co. They were never pushy and don't work on commission so they are more likely to help you find what you want within your budget. They have a great replacement, cleaning, and swap policy, too. We also like the layaway that they offered. Instead of paying all at once or paying interest, they will hold their jewelry for you and you can pay it off in pieces and then pick it up when you have it paid off.

  • My FI purchased my enagement ring from Blue Nile online and said he had amazing customer service and that the variety in the different price ranges was good. We're going to go through them for our wedding bands. They resize for free, too, which is great. The only downside is that you pay to ship and insure the ring when it needs to go in.
