Saturday: RELAX & dinner w/ FI!

Sunday: Visit a friends who recently had a baby!! SO CUTE!!!

Rave: SOOOOO EXCITED about tonight!!!!

Rant: Is it really snowing again?!?!?!? UGH!

Yay! So happy its Friday. I'm going to see Jay-Z to with my MOH too!! pumped about that. Hopefully traffic works out for me after work then down to Mohegan.

Saturday- Going to the venue to finalize the menu,rentals and plates etc. excited about that so we can order our invitations! Then the FI and I have to doggy sit at his sisters while she is at a wedding.

Sunday- Hopefully just relaxing and being lazy!

Sooo jealous you ladies are going to see Jay-Z! You'll have an amazing time!

Rant: This flingin flangin wedding and saving for it has caused me to not be able to buy tickets to 3 concerts this year I would have done anything to go see! I was soooo upset about missing Black Eyed Peas... now Jay Z.. and then Bon Jovi.. *tear*

Rave: My invitations came in yesterday from Cards & Pockets! I was soooo excited that I thought I could start assembling.. man alive those things are time consuming! I only put together like 4 or 5! And that's not including the belly bands! I'm just so proud of myself for designing them myself when I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to computers and formatting.. yipes!

Tonight: Relaxing and movie with FI

Tomorrow: Going out to celebrate 2 of our friends getting engaged this past week. Whoo-hoo!!

Sunday: Pre-marital class at church and then probably tackling some more of the invitations.

Yay it's Friday!!!! This weekend we're doing a wine tasting party at my sister's house (MOH) to choose the wines for the wedding. I can't wait! We invites our bridal party and a few couples that won't really know anyone at the wedding so that they could meet some new friends.

Rant: I checked our hotel block 3 days ago and we only have 1 room left. I contact the person there that is in charge of our block to have her increase it, but she still hasn't gotten back to me. Called today and she's not in until Monday, so I left a message for the manager so she could do it, and of course still haven't gotten any response. WTF?! Plus, FI went there the other day and the WHOLE place is under construction!!! They're building a restaurant, which will be great, but they better freaking be done by the wedding!

Tonight: Dinner with DH and movie at home afterwards
Tomorrow: Snowboarding up at Mt. Snow! YAY for no more wedding planning so i can finally squeeze in some snowboarding before the ski season is completely over!
Sunday: Going to NJ to visit my grandpa

RAVE: I love that the wedding planning is done so i can finally spend some quality time with my DH without being stressed and snapping at him for stupid little things... but i do miss parts of the planning...

I suggest doing one component of the invitations at a time. First, I matted all of the colored mats onto the pockets fold...then I matted all of the invitations...then i added all of the inserts...that way i would say "i'll stop when i'm done with this part"

Saturday: hmm I feel like we have something planned...I know I'm at least going to the gym...maybe some shopping...but I feel like i have plans...hmm

Sunday: no idea.

Rant: I NEED A VACATION! I just need a weekend away so I can relax. I feel like I'll be a much better person and teacher for it. bleh.

Rant: I have to set up an appointment with the chuch but got to find out with who. The priest that we met with is no longer there and right now there is no one in charge at the parish so I have no idea who I am suppose to get in contact with. Also I need to fax over room-block info to the Marriott sometimes this week which I can't do until I talk to the church to make sure all the details are in place.

Tomorrow FI and I are going over the menu options with my mom for our engagement party next week. We are having a pretty casual event so My mom and aunts are going to be doing the cooking. Love having great cooks in the family!!

Sunday: I finally get to sit down my photog to go over the details and also finally get to see his portfolio.

FINALLY!!! ---CAPT testing is over!!! This was the worst week ever...I would much rather teach all day then proctor CAPT for 4 hours a morning then teach a few classes.

Weekend Plans?? I think I am going to get my religion certifications from my hometown church, and pay the deposit on our cake vendor. Grade some papers, and exercise. It is a mini break from wedding planning

Rave/Rant?? Rant and a Rave- read the first few sentences of my post!
Rave- I had my make-up trial on Wednesday and I was soo thriled with it. The make-up artist was phenominal!! (She is actually Kim's MOH! So anytime Kim recommends her for make-up... I second that!) I can not wait for my hair trial next weekend

Thanks! I was actually thinking of breaking it down like that but I got so excited that I just went full speed ahead and lost pep pretty quickly. Haha..

I'm sorry you've been so stressed Alise.. have you and DH thought about going away for a night or two one weekend to de-stress? Like to the Cape or up in the mountains in VT or NH? Just getting away from everything can reeeeally help boost morale! Feel better! :0)

Kate, I totally agree with Alise. Do one component at a time. That's how I did mine. You get into a rhythm when you're doing the same action over and over. lol.

thanks...We talked a little bit about it last night...Hopefully we can talk more about it this weekend! It probably wont be for another few weeks because DH has his own maple syrup business, and the syrup season is very dependent on the weather.
