I'm trying to order my wedding dress online and I can't seem to figure out how to see the price of any of the dresses. please help

    A lot of desginer websites don't allow you to order your dress online, but ask you to go to the dress for a proper sizing.

    Any dress you can buy online I would be afraid of. None of the major designers sell their dresses, I would suggest finding it at a retailer.

    First, where are you trying to look at your dress? Like on Alfred Angelo's website, they do lay out their pricing scale- but you do have to go to a store to see the actual price.

    I'd also pose this question on the Budget Weddings board, there are quite a few sites that they advise brides against.

    If I were you, I'd try on the dress first before you buy it. You may like it in the picture but hate it when you actually try it on and then you have to go through the whole mess of returning it and what not.

    Some designers now allow online ordering. I'm no super finicky about ordering online partly b/c I know I have an entire year to handle any issues that come up, and partly b/c this is my second wedding so I'm just plain worried about less than I was the first time around. If you love the dress, go for it.
    Check out their customer service page and see if you can call and ask if online ordering is allowed.

    thanks everyone! i was just goinmg through pictures on the knot and then following the links to their websites, but I have found my dress!! When I saw it my breath was gone and everything just dropped to the pit of my stomach. It's perfect. Emergency averted (:
