Sunset Gardens or the Grove

Does anyone know of these two venues in Vegas?  Which one would be better to have a wedding?

I was originally interested in both places - SIL scouted the Grove for me and said it was beautiful, but definitely quite far from the strip.  Their packages seemed really great though and the couple of knotties here that used them gave good reviews.  In regards to Sunset Gardens, one of the things I didn't like about it is that it's in a strip mall on a very busy street in Henderson.  The gardens themselves were beautiful, but I just didn't like the first impression of the strip mall.  Also, the guy I dealt with was extremely pushy.

What are you looking for in a venue?  Location?  Price?  Atmosphere?  Ladies on here are getting married / have gotten married all over so maybe we can help you find something to suit your needs.

If you're ok with the Henderson area, you may want to check out is the Terrace - http://www.terraceevents.com/

I toured The Grove while looking for venues, and it's a very beautiful place. I just hated that it was so far, although their packages are great. I know that they get booked up very quickly too, because when I was looking at their calendar, their dates get booked up to a year in advance.

I didn't bother looking at Sunset Gardens because I didn't like the are it was in, Direy already said where that is. If you give us more information about what you would like, we can give you better ideas!

Of the locals I know who have been guests at Sunset Gardens, they say the ceremony can be hard to hear if/when a plane flies over.  It does look nice inside, and you may forget that it's in a strip mall once you're in there.

Ditto Direy, Terrace looks great in person.

Oh thanks so much everyone for the quick replies! I am looking to have a very small ceremony with only 30 guests.  AND I AM ON A STRICT BUDGET :-) I definitely want something all inclusive also
