Engagement Party Location Help Needed!

Hi!  This is my first time on this board and I am in desperate need of help!  My fiance and I had reserved a place to have our engagement party for June 19th but found out today that they double booked and now we need to find somewhere else for the same date as well as order new invitations... but that's a whole other issue.

Does anyone know of anywhere that could accommodate up to 30 people, preferrably Italian food since it's pretty neutral, and not incredibly pricey?  Thank you so much!

We live in the upper west side so somewhere close would be great but we can be flexible.

try bottino, it was really cute and the food was good. i took my now FI there for his birthday because its actually his last name! no relation though. we went in october and sat outside in the garden area and it was really pleasant. im sure it would be super nice in the summer

Do you want a private dining room?
Most of the places I'm suggesting DON't have a separate room.

    These are my favorites:
    Gennaro
    Celeste
    'cesca

Also, you should consider a BR Guest Restaurant...Isabella's or Ocean Grill.  I know they aren't Italian, but they have private rooms and event planners.

We just booked Bottino for our rehearsal dinner (late August, I promise we won't double book with you!). The manager Danny has been super-duper helpful and accomodating to a few tough requests (wheelchair accessibility, etc). Plus the food is great. Plus it's really reasonably priced. Plus it's really pretty. There's also a parking garage across the street for anyone who's driving, which is a nice little bonus.

I would suggest LaMela in Little Italy....fun, relaxed, family style meals, and all around a New York experience!

Just don't do it on October 8th when we are! lol
